We’re situated in leafy Forest Hill and Sydenham in South East London, although we can help you with a funeral anywhere in London and beyond.
We’re available weekdays from 9am til 5pm. If we’re not available when you call, please leave a message and we’ll call you back as soon as we can.
IF SOMEONE HAS DIED AFTER 5PM
Weekdays after 5pm and weekends - If someone has died at home or in a nursing home and needs to be collected
If you need to arrange for the person who has died to be collected, please leave a message on our answerphone with your details and we’ll call you back. If you leave a message between the hours of 10pm and 7am, we’ll call you back in the morning to arrange bringing the person who has died into our care.
After 5pm - If someone has died in a hospital or is in the care of the coroner

How to find us
Davids Road is a one-way street, situated just off the A205 south circular road directly by Forest Hill train station. The Signal pub is on the corner but this end of the street does not allow entry to vehicles.
If arriving by car, please set your sat nav to navigate to SE23 3EP. When you arrive in Forest Hill, turn off London Road at Waldenshaw Road, then turn right onto Manor Mount, which becomes Davids Road. Poetic Endings is on the right as the road becomes one way.
Free parking is available for up to two hours in the Sainsbury’s car park, a minute’s walk away from our funeral home. Drive to Davids Road and turn right onto Pearcefield Avenue – the Sainsbury’s car park is on the left. You will need to use the paybyphone app.
There is street parking on Davids Road, payable Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm via paybyphone. If you don’t have the app, we can help you.
The nearest train station is Forest Hill, just a minute’s walk away from our funeral home.
Forest Hill station is very well connected to central London stations with direct trains from London Bridge and Victoria. There are also direct trains from Highbury and Islington, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.

How to find us
Our Sydenham branch is located on Kirkdale, Sydenham’s historic high street.
Free parking is available on the surrounding streets. Jews Walk SE26 has plenty of parking. No payment is required.
The nearest train station is Sydenham, an eight minute walk from our funeral home.
Sydenham station is very well connected to central London stations with direct trains from London Bridge and Victoria. There are also direct trains from Highbury and Islington, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.
